Description
The Silken floor tiles offer a matte finish with a subtle riven texture. These digitally printed tiles expertly replicate the appearance of vein-cut stone while maintaining a consistent look without the natural variations found in stone products. Their larger size creates the illusion of spaciousness in any room by reducing the number of visible grout lines, making them an excellent choice for compact kitchens.
To ensure safety, floor tiles are assigned an 'R' value on a scale ranging from R9 (basic standard) to R13 (highest slip resistance). The Silken Floor tiles have an R10 slip rating, making them well-suited for dry domestic areas like kitchens.
For spaces where temperatures may drop below freezing, such as utility rooms and conservatories, it's crucial to choose frost-proof tiles. Frost-proof tiles, with a water absorption rate of less than 0.5%, are perfect for these conditions. Tiles lacking frost-proof glazing can absorb water, which may freeze at or below zero degrees, potentially leading to tile damage.
